Some people are terrified at the thought of losing the person they love. In the ones who really know what walking next to somebody is, and have unsuccessfully tried to communicate and start a relationship with someone they love, there is a justification for this feeling. Rejection is sometimes unbearable and, in most cases, painful. They may feel bitter at the thought that they are not good enough, or believe they cannot offer what their beloved expects from them, and therefore struggle to change this. But in the people who repeatedly act posessively, as if trying to manipulate the chosen one towards them, the fact that they fear to lose their "beloved" one is horrifying, sometimes even despicable.
We should not give so much precedence to shallow admiration or desire, as faultless generators of real happiness, since there is no happiness without trust. If our true ambition is to create a real bond with somebody, we should save the sexy looks, lingerie and lipstick for our honey-moon. These are often monotonously dominant, and dominance implies a lack of confidence. Human love relationships should be like dances: no one will offer the same thing to the other one, and there will be times of dominance, laughter and mourning. As the music inevitably plays, both individuals should try to make it through in order to stay together, respecting their partner's dancing space, nonetheless contributing to an improvised choreography whose rhythm is only written in the connection between the dancers.
